I am currently working with the trial of the E3 Office 365 product. We are going through testing at this time to see if this is the direction the company wants to go. We are only a couple of weeks into the trial with a test group of 10 users at this time.
We are using Lync, SharePoint Online and the Office 2013 apps. So far so good. The team testing this is working on a special corporate project.
At this time we are not using SSO or have it integrated in any way to our local AD infrastructure.
One of the questions we have is what problems will we run into, if any, if we do not want to migrate our on premise exchange server to the one provided in Office 365. We are leaning to only using the on premise Exchange server and not setting up the one provided with Office 365.
Anyone else out there experience any problems using the same scenario for their deployment of Office 365? What issues do you run into with Lync if you do this?
