As I'm guessing many people have seen when I upgraded a client to Office 2016 and it upgraded the groove sync adapter and all hell broke loss with getting the the error credentials needed for both the one drive folder and sharepoint folder. And Microsoft's response was always we are working on a new sync adapter and will release it soon. Well it came out and it's the new one drive sync adapter but as of now we are only able to connect a users one drive folder to it. I will say this though it did resolve the credentials issues for that folder at least but we are still stuck using groove for syncing sharepoint and are getting the credentials error. And my one client keeps freaking out thinking it's the machines I sold him causing this problem.
Last thing I read by Q4 we should be able to use the one drive sync adapter for sharepoint but...
