You should know I am posting this thread after reading about 20 SW threads other Exhange On-Premises vs. Exchange Online. I have read through them, and feel these questions weren't fully answered.

So, the more I look at Exchange Online, the more I am confused.
Let me first say, that I work in K12, so Exchange Online comes at basically a 0 price-point, so it certainly makes sense for me.
However, in all of my reading, the deployment choices are pretty convoluted.
So, my questions are for those of you who have done Exchange Online or have experience with it.
1. Did you do a fully cloud based or a Hybrid model? Why did you choose that model?
2. If you go fully online with no on-premises presence, can users still connect through Outlook normally? Is it seamless to the end-user?
