I have a few users with multiple different issues with Excel 2016. Each issue below is for a separate user.
1. Excel stopped working, MS looking for solution. All Excel docs close.
2. When closing a spreadsheet, asked to save. Regardless of saving or not, all excel docs close.
3. Excel just closes all excel docs, no message or warning.
I've done the online quick repair and long repair to all. Removed add-ins. Renamed app data for app and user. Full uninstall re-installs for 2 of them. OffCAT finds nothing. Event log nothing. Reliability monitor shows the disconnections, but no solutions available.
I'll being calling MS next, but was curious if anyone else had something i may have missed. Plus kinda wanted to vent!
