Have a user that has Full Control on a document library. Yet if that user opens a file in Word (or Excel; local, not online) she cannot Share the document.
Click on File and Share, and it says "Inviting people is not enabled here." Click on the Share button (Office 2016) in the upper right, it says "Sorry, something is preventing us from sharing this."
If I put her in the Global Owners group she can share either way, no problem. But we're not going to leave her in that group.
She can email the document, and she can share it from within O365, just not from the local Office app.
It was like this on her W7 box with Office 2013 and now on W10 and Office 2016.
Any ideas?
