I know that we often discuss the technical benefits of migrating to Office 365, but I don't see much discussion surrounding the actual selling of the project to leadership. I am curious how others have or plan to show leadership why O365 makes so much sense.
I am speaking more from a high level approach: how would you present the project to your senior leadership team (President, COO, etc.)?
The main benefits, from my perspective, are pretty simple:
1. Cost:
- Tangible: we will be saving approximately $11,000 per year over our current Hosted Exchange infrastructure. Contracted implementation cost will be made up in 18 months based on this projection.
- Intangible: outsourcing email as a commodity allows our internal IT staff to focus on value added tasks and projects, which aligns with company initiatives.
