Mail Flow Path

We have a Office 365 hybrid config., and gradually moving all users to Exchange Online.

When the Hybrid Configuration Wizard was initially configured, we selected the Mail Flow Path to 'route all internet-bound messages through your on-premises Exchange servers'.

1. What are the step(s) required to change the Mail Flow Path to 'deliver internet-bound messages directly using the external recipient's DNS settings'?

2. What are the implications of doing this?
