we are planning to migrate our Exchange 2007 on premise to Office 365 Midsize Business
We bought all the Office 365 licenses (27) and we created all users as name@ourcompany.onmicrosoft.com; we added our domain "ourcompany.it" and already verified that we are the owners.
We already asked our ISP to create an MX record but only as the "second one"; we are still using our on premise Exchange Server and our "first" MX record points to our public IP
We are now planning the mailboxes migration and I think we will do the "cutover migration"; there are still some details thar are not clear to me so I'm asking here...
All our Office365 users have currently the address "user@ourcompany.onmicrosoft.com"; as I added our domain I can see that it is possible to change the addresses to "user@ourcompany.it". Do I need to do it now, before starting...
