I have a user who when they open Excel, Word, or any other office program they don't display in a window, but they do show as running on the task bar and in task manager. When you hover over the taskbar icon it is blank or the color of the taskbar. If you click it a couple of times it will pop-up usually. I've checked that it is not opening up behind the other program windows and I have changed protected mode to be off as well and it still happens. Anyone have any insight on why they don't open in a window right away?
