Both companies I support(under 1 roof) have decided to finally make the switch from on-prem Exchange 2007 to Office 365.They are both going to purchase the Midsized $15/month plan through a vendor. I'm curious from all of you that have done this migration on how difficult it is and if you would hire a vendor? I know a vendor can support me - but all vendors I have talked with do NOT help with the migration - that is an extra cost.
Some background about me and our situation here. I have been an Exchange admin since the 5.0 days and we are currently on 2007. The difficulty with our situation is:
- I supportboth of these companies under 1 roof, 1 Exchange server, 1 network, 1 AD domain. (we are in the long process of splitting everything - but o365 is coming BEFORE the AD split - thus we will not be using ADFS - but can we use DirSync still?)...
