I have a customer with Outlook 2010, and her company has 365. She was given full access rights to a couple users mailboxes, and is unable to search those mailboxes either in Outlook or in the OWA.
The OWA thing I wish I had known earlier on as I went through everything with outlook, changing settings, new profile, new outlook data file, and the only thing that worked was when she had Cached mode turned off....but then she complains about the performance.
After finding out about the OWA I got with Microsoft to have them check 365, but all they had me do was check indexing options (which I told them I already had) on her system. Now, I'd say that makes no sense, but she says she is able to search those attached mailboxes when using Outlook on a different system.
