We've had a request from our CEO to set up some integration between our Emails (hosted by Office 365) and a bespoke CRM program that our developers are currently building.
Basically what he wants (ha ha ha) is for the CRM software to be able to look at all emails as they come in and if they are from a specific email address, to make a copy of that email and put it next to that account in the CRM software.
Now, he's convinced that microsoft must have produced some software that means we can do this sort of integration, I'm more cynical about whether this is possible due to the way the emails are hosted on Office 365, however, I'd like other opinions from people that work with this system.
What do you think, are there addons or work arounds that can be integrated with some code to make this work, or is it a case (as I suspect it is)...
