I've come across articles like this
That go over how to put office 365 on an image. Our deployment software allows us to name the computer when its doing its deployment of the image. In turn it does not show up on our list of computers that are active on our Office 365 account and will not allow use to activate using a users login from our account except for the Admin account. It says that the user does not have licensing but we can then login to the office 365 portal and it takes us right to the download page to download the product it swears we don't have licensing for.
Microsoft gave us an 8 step list of what to do that still requires us to go to each machine and run a script in the command line for the products to populate in the programs list. Has anyone had this issue? We chose Office 365 because we wanted to have a single license for both Windows and Mac users as well as be able to install it on their tablets and phones otherwise we would have gone with Office 2013 OL.
We are doing the deployment in batches and its point less to use their deployment software when we are doing it on 2-3 systems a day. I'm just trying to find a foolproof way of putting Office 365 Pro Plus on our golden image and deploy that to each of our systems then simply login with that users credentials to activate their license. Microsoft says there is no real way of doing that short of their run scripts after deployment option.
