We are in the process of cleaning up our AD/Office365 directory, and now that a couple hurricanes have brushed the east coast we would like to include personal cell phones in our company directory as well.
We already have buy-in from all employees as to sharing their cell phone numbers internally, however, we want to denote the personal ones from our "company" phones so that personal numbers aren't given to clients, whereas a sales team may not care or may want their number given out (by receptionist, etc).
My only bright idea may be to add a 'p' to the phone number (indicating personal), also considering most mobile phones accept p as a "pause" and will still accept and call the number, but part of my thought process is to use this field to feed other systems, perhaps using something like Twilio to contact users when the building power...
