I'm trying to work out how to send an email after creating a shared mailbox when logged in as a user rather than going to my avatar and selecting 'Open another Mailbox...' in the browser.
After creating a shared mailbox 'shared@o365.com' I permission 2 members to have access, now when I access shared mailbox delegation settings I show
FULL ACCESS
User1 (this is my global admin)
SEND AS
User1(this is my global admin)
User2 (no admin access)
NT AUTHORITY\Self
Accessing Mail as User1, select 'New' to open a new email. Select '...' then 'From' shows my from address - 'user1@o365.com' when I click the From button I only have my email address to choose from not the shared mailbox I have permission to, and the From email address shown is a hyperlink not freehand text whichcan be changed.
