I am doing some testing with OneDrive and folder redirection. Our end goal is to redirect desktop and documents using group policy to users OneDrive account. I have the Group policy setup and folder redirection works. If I log into OneDrive then apply the folder redirection policy everything works as it should.
The issue I am running into is that if a user logs into a another machine or they get the folder redirection before logging into one drive then OneDrive will not allow them to log in since the default OneDrive folder is already created. The folder redirection is creating the default OneDrive folder so it is unable to setup in the correct location.
With Group policy I think I can make sure that if the folder does not exists that redirection does not occur but then I would have to make sure to manually create the Desktop,...
