We are group of 4 who currently all share files via Cubby each with individual accounts.
We need more storage space and we all have Office 365 ProPlus so makes sense to
look at the cloud storage we get in our subscription.
However, having a problem with the ridiculously long folder paths that come with using
either OneDrive for business or the SharePoint team site method for sharing
files. Below is using SharePoint:
- First you need to create a folder that will act as the root point for syncing files as not allowed to
create at the root of a drive directly e.g. C:\onedrive\ - Then it wants to create a special OneDrive folder for your business under this e.g.
C:\onedrive\onedrive - company name\ - Then you sync SharePoint team site and this becomes: C:\onedrive\onedrive - company
name\SharePoint\company name - docs Team Site\my...
