Backing up Mailboxes - O365

HI All,

Just a quick question just to figure out what people are currently doing for ex users mailboxes who have left the business.

-Currently the process where I currently work is to convert the mailbox into a shared mailbox
-Revoke the license
-wait 3 months then backup the mailbox by giving my self mailbox permissions to backup to pst from outlook.

This is an annoying and timely process - I was wondering what other organizations are doing and if there is indeed a quicker way!
