Have I ever told you how much I hate the cloud? I just spent 45 minutes with a user who couldn’t connect to Exchange. I tried checking connection status, reconnecting, repairing, deleting and recreating the profile, applying Office updates, etc. etc. etc. After all that, it still just said “Working Offline” in the status bar of Outlook. I’m sitting there scratching my head and thinking about what to do next and up pops the message that I remember occasionally seeing when I migrated users from one version of Exchange to another. Something about the administrator made a change and you must restart Outlook. So I click OK, Outlook restarts, and everything is fine.
