We have a client that uses a hosed solution for a software package. As part of that package they get Office 365.
The client wants to move away from this software vendor and their office 365 and get their own.
They have purchased Office 365 from MS directly and asked us to set it up. We have spoken to the website host and asked that they add the TXT which they have done. They also have an MX record as they believed they were handling the mail.
When we hit validate the domain from the O365 admin portal it states its already added.
Is it possible this is because the software vendor has already registered it and would it resolve it by getting the software vendor to delete/remove the domain from their O365 admin portal?
