We currently have Office 365 Business Premium licenses and in the past those counted as user licenses for Office installed on a terminal server. With Office 2016 I see that you are required to have ProPlus or E3 to install the software on a terminal server.
I am looking for any other options. Can you still use those office 365 licenses as user CALs for the 2016 software? For example, if I purchase a copy of 2016 via volume licensing would it be acceptable to use our current business premium licenses as user CALs?
