I have a client that wants to move to Office 365 Exchange hosting from another provider due to password sync issues. The issue with the current hosting provider is that when they change their desktop password with in the Server 2008 R2 domain the password is synced to the exchange hosting provider and if they do not think ahead any phones, tablets, etc. that also access the email account will cause the account to lock out within 3-5 min. To add insult to injury they have to call the provider and to unlock the account because there is no admin interface that I or they can access to unlock the account. I have contacted the provider and confirmed that there is no other solution but to call.
So before I move them to O365 I need to know if this is also a problem in O365?
