I've got a client that we recently migrated from on-prem Exchange 2013 to Office 365 Exchange Online.
The migration was completed with Skykick and went well.
We would like to implement Azure AD Connect primarily for password syncfrom local AD to Office 365.
I've looked at performing the Full Sync with SMTP matching so that the existing AD accounts map directly to the 365 accounts.
I've configured the UPN for each local AD user to match the primary SMTP address on each of the 365 accounts and filtered my sync to only include the OU that contains the mail users.
Is there anything else that needs to be done before I kick off the sync? I really don't want a scenario where I end up with a ton of duplicate accounts in 365.
Can anyone comment if you've done this before and any gotcha's that you've found?
