I have a client that has recently purchased Office 365 Business Premium plans for all their users. Now I was informed that 4 of the users need Access. I have been told by both my vendor and my MS rep that I cannot just purchase Access for those four users. I've also been informed that because the O365 licensing has already been activated, I cannot perform an upgrade of those users to E3.
Has anyone else run into this situation? If so, what have you done to provide Access to the users?
In the past, pre-Office 365, I would have simply had them purchase a "boxed copy" of Access and install it on those computers. However, I have been told that single copy licenses of Access are not compatible with the new click-to-run O365 installations and that I cannot run both "license types" on the same computer. Is this true?
