We have an office 365 solution which is synced with our organisations AD. All mailboxes are in the cloud.
The situation I have is that a user has left the company but still works for us on a retainer. It has been decided that the user will not be allowed access to our corporate network but will still keep his mailbox access.
If I delete the user in AD, dirsync will then delete the user from office 365 also.
If I disable the user in AD, dirsync will disable the user in in office 365 also.
How can I remove the user from my AD, but still allow them access to their mailbox in office 365?
