We have a user in O365 that has been synced using DirSync, but has not been activated. We would like to remove the user from O365, but not remove them from AD.
We have looked at the http://blog.msgeneral.nl/2011/10/how-to-delete-user-from-office-365-that.html article, but are hoping that there is an easier way to do this by removing the attributes in AD or moving the user to a non-synced OU and then running DirSync to upload the changes.
Is there a way to do this easily?
