We are running Office 365 in hybrid mode with Exchange 2010 SP2. Office 365 now cannot be accessed through EMC with the following error
'Initialization failed...when getting management role information...unable to cast object of type system.runtime.serialization.typeloadexceptionholder to type microsoft.exchange.data.roleentry'
Searching around seems to indicate that Exchange 2010 SP3 is required if the tenant has been upgraded to the latest version of Office 365.
1. Can anyone confirm if installing SP3 will fix the above error?
2. Has anyone experienced issues with the installation of SP3 ( as I believe it makes changes to the AD schema etc. )
