Going to toss this out there, as I'm not finding any real answers (including from vendors!)
We are looking at upgrading our current O365 licensing to E4. WE'd like to take advantage of SfB voice, and replace our aging BCM (don't get me started!).
Everything works well in the testing we've done; until we try introducing a desk phone into the mix.
We currently have 3 TS session hosts, with a connection broker. Trying to use BToE and the Poycom and Snom devices we've demo'd fails, as the user could end up connecting to any of the 3 hosts, and all of the IP phones will only connect to a single host for BToE.
One of the bidding vendors suggested USB phones, but the devices they've recommended look cheap, without a corresponding price tag.
We can't be the only company out there trying to do this. Has anyone else encountered a similar challenge?
