Hi all
I want to propose Office 365 Business Premium to a client due to an aging on-premise Exchange server.
They are fairly small in size (circa 15 users) however they are contractually obliged to keep email archived for several years.
They currently use GFI Mail Archive 2015
What i need to know, is what retention policy you can have for mailbox items within Office 365. I have read on a couple of websites that the retention can now be set to indefinite and i wondered if anyone on here knows if that actually is the case
i.e. If a user deletes an email, and empties there Deleted Items folder, does Office 365 give you the ability to recover that email no matter how long ago it was removed??
