Need to know more about MS Office 365

I would like to know if I still get desktop copies of Office applications used exclusively on my desktop and no online access if I subscribe to Office 365.

I don't actually need to do anything online, and my small team also do things exclusively on their desktop. But I see that if I subscribe to Office 365, I only have to pay a small amount every month for up to 5 users. But a boxed copy of Office for ONE user costs $519. For a small business, that's a lot of money if I need 5 copies. But basically, I just need the apps installed on machines so we can use it and save files on local machines, not online.
