Restore Mailbox office 365 dirsync

A user was acciednetly removed from our DIRSYNC. This forced this mailbox to move to shared mailbox once the sync removed the user from 365.

I've put the user back into 365 now and assigned them a license but I cant map the account across.

Both the user and the shared mailbox show the error: The items your trying to open couldnt be found

If i send a email it goes somewhere as i dont get a bounce back. If I check 365 for softdeletedmalboxes it isnt there.

If i run get-mailboxstatisics against the account I can see that it has 9k items. So looks like its there, but I just cant open it or anything.

Is there a command to force it from a shared to a normal user (this is a Dirsync account so may complicate things)
