I've been researching how to migrate Public Folders from Exchange 2007 (Staged Migration) to Office 365. From what I've found, it seems like this is a bit dicey compared to everything else.
Our current public folders deployment is not that big, about 10 top level folders and of those, maybe 5 are actually active with about 2-3GB of data total, and our environment is relatively small too.
Maybe I've oversimplified this in my head, but assuming I had appropriate permissions, couldnt I just export the folders, to a couple PST files, then create the folder public folders in Office 365, then move the data over, and reassign permissions?
Thanks in advance for your replies and insights
