It's always a challenge when dealing with very small businesses and trying to get them to use properly licensed software. Microsoft Office is the worst. Not too long ago I was trying to convince a client that what they were doing with Office 365 Business really didn't fly.
In order to install Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook on 10 computers they bought two subscriptions to Office 365 Business. I wanted to explain to them that while that was clever it wasn't really "legal". So I went looking. I couldn't find anything in writing about it. I called a big Office 365 reseller and talked to them at length about it.
We both agreed it didn't feel right. But they checked with one or more higher-ups and no one could point out where it was officially wrong.
