After an exchange outage for over a business day last week the president asked me to investigate alternatives. Thus the question, Office 356 Essentials vs. Exchange 2010 in house? We currently have SBS 2011 which has Exchange 2010 inside, and Office 2007 on all our desktops. Aside from the cost issues of O365 what am I looking at as far as administrative issues and Migration issues. Given that SBS and the hardware it runs on, are paid for already, am I better off to wait until E2010 is no longer supported, or should we make the jump now? Is anybody out there a true Exchange GURU who wants to support us on a as needed & on-call basis, on the few times I find myself in over my head?
