Office 365 site mailbox

I created a team site on Office 365 with a site mailbox, now I want to keep the site, but delete the mailbox.

Is it possible to keep the site, but delete the mailbox?

The below link seems to suggest not, but thought I'd check if anyone has found a way around this.
