Like many of you may be doing, I have different services that send out alerts. With hosted e-mail it's necessary to set up a mail relay to forward these alerts to the external mail server. However, I'm running into an issue with Office 365. I want to be able to send these e-mails as coming from different addresses.
However, e-mails show as coming from the account that I'm using to authenticate with the SMTP relay. I have multiple services that need their own e-mail addresses to avoid confusion and to meet the conditions of my mailbox filtering rules.
How did you work around this? If you weren't able to, what means did you use to accomplish this?
