I've started going round in circles with this, so time to ask...
I'm migrating from SBS 2008 to Server 2012 R2 Essentials and Office 365 Business Premium. Ultimate objective is that the SBS 2008 server will be gracefully retired, having had Exchange Server uninstalled and it demoted as a DC.
- The 2012R2 server is integrated with the AD domain and added as a DC
- I've enabled the Office 365 integration service from the Essentials Console (it needed the August 2014 roll-up to allow this to work when you have more than one DC) and this looks to be working nicely as I right click a user in the dashboard and
- I've not created any users in O365 yet (beyond the admin user)
As a side question, is the Essentials O365 dashboard integration DirSync with a different name? Or is it something else? Lots of articles talk about DirSync and the full blown...
