I know this general topic was already discussed in September but the solution provided did not solve the problem I am having so I was wondering if I could present my particular circumstances to any wise people who can help me ;-)
We have an Exchange 2013 server with both student and staff accounts and we are moving the students to an the O365 server. Basically we are using dirsync on an AD OU to determine which users should get accounts in the cloud. Then we are using a PowerShell script to assign licenses. The process seems to work fine for existing users, but we seem to have run into a snag with new users.
The problem as I understand it comes about as follows:
1) A new user gets created in AD.
2) Dirsync creates an account for this person in the cloud.
3) An automation assigns a license to this person.
4) The cloud creates a mail box for...
