We are setup in a hybrid deployment with Exchange 2010 and Office 365. There are 2 Exchange 2013 Hybrid servers for connecting to O365. Most mailboxes are on premise with about 60 hosted in O365.
We are trying to test out hosted archive with an on premise mailbox, but I can't get it to automatically archive items. We have successfully created archive mailboxes for a few people and they show up in Outlook. We can manually drag items into the archive. Additionally, we have created a custom retention policy and applied to the mailboxes. We have default and personal retention policy tags applied to the policy to archive anything older than a year. I have mail over 3 years old in my account but it is not archiving. I have tried to manually kick off the process but running this powershell command:
