Having converted a while back to Office 365, I'm finally attempting to design the "Public Facing Website" using both the "Web" designer and Sharepoint Designer 2013. To say that it has been disappointing is an understatement. While I understand there is so much that can be done in Sharepoint, the learning curve is a bit much. I just want to design a rather easy to use website - Home Page / Services / Contact / Blog / Maybe a few other pages.
My questions:
- Does anyone have any knowledge of how I can learn Sharepoint Designer 2013 or an alternate to "Design" the website without using the limited available website designer? Turns out that Sharepoint Designer 2013 does NOT have the Visual Designer side to it - only coding. Designer 2010 has it but it was removed in 2013. Fascinating that Microsoft removed features.
