I'm looking at dropping my subscription with Mozy's home backup solution simply because of cost. I can pay the same amount for nearly 10 times the storage, and get Office 2013 products, just by purchasing an Office 365 subscription.
Is there any non-obvious reason this wouldn't be a good idea? One nice thing about using Mozy is I can replace my computer and keep the same folder structure. Mozy will keep from having to reupload the entire contents of my computer as long as the structure is the same.
My concern is if I go with Office 365 and I ever replace a computer, I'll have to re-download all the data from the cloud. Ideally, I can restore from my NAS backup and never have to touch the cloud. If OneDrive works the same as Mozy, it would be able to not re-upload all my data and just verify my local copy is the same as the cloud. The...
