Currently, we have an on-premise Exchange server and Barracuda spam server. We're going to be moving to Office 365 shortly (Mid-sized business) and had some questions for those of you who have made the switch. The high level requirements are: Everything has to be cloud based - no on-premise anything, and as low cost as possible. We aren't that big so paying $50/user for email, spam filtering, archiving, etc, isn't going to fly. We also use AWS for our own software, so i'm not opposed to installing something on an EC2 to satisfy the 'cloud-based' requirement.
So, my questions:
-Does O365 have good native spam filtering? If not, do you use another solution and if so what? I worried about leaving our Barracuda behind.
-What do you use for email archiving? We currently don't have anything. Debating the Exchange online options for...
