I found something very unintuitive about Office365 billing yesterday, and I wondered if anyone had found a decent resolution.
I have a client who pays by invoice. The internal bookkeeper is set up in O365 as a Billing Administrator. When you make someone an administrator, you have to enter an 'alternate email address' for such things as password resets.
Each month, an email is sent to the billing administrator telling them that there is a new invoice to pay. However, it sends thisto the alternate address, not the O365 mailbox. As the alternate address of this user is a little used personal account which would only be checked if she was looking for something, they didn't check for invoices and the bills went unpaid.
I raised this with the partner support team and was told that this behaviour is by design, and it is not possible to send...
