We have been using Office 365 for about 18 months and forthe most part it has gone smoothly.Theone thing that has been a problem is dirsync (long story as to the problems we’vehad). Therefore, I’m thinking ofbreaking the sync and just managing Office 365 separately from our internalAD.Our Office 365 and ADpasswords have never been synced so that’s not an issue.Only about 10-15 of our employees ever usetheir Active Directory accounts (the rest work full-time at customer sites soonly use email), so there’d only be 10-15 accounts to maintain in both places, withthe rest managed strictly in Office 365.My questions are:
1) Does anyone else use Office 365 and Active Directory withoutdirsync?
2) Are there 3rd party alternatives to dirsync?
3) If we have reason totry dirsync again in the future, isit feasible to set that up again later?
