I have an employee with a computer that is having trouble opening files from our company's SharePoint site. If she tries to open a .xlsx file, she can only edit it in Excel Online. If she tries to edit in Excel, a box will pop up that tells her she does not have the latest version of Office (which she does have 2013) and offers to let her download a copy of the file. If she downloads the file to edit it, then that defeats the purpose of it being on SharePoint in the first place. She was ok with just editing the files in Excel Online until today when she came across an encrypted file which she was unable to edit in Excel Online because it does not support that feature. She is able to edit .xls files in Excel just fine (although it opens the file twice for some reason), and I am able to edit .xlsx files in Excel on my own computer. This...
